Tree Planting Event in Floriana, Malta.

Hansa Shipping GmbH & Co KG
of Hamburg, Germany, took the initiative
to assist in Malta's afforestation by planting 5 trees, to represent five of its ships registered under the Malta flag, on Friday 15th October, 2010.  

The tall mast p.s.v. "Sea Cloud", a regular caller to Malta, is one of the 5 Malta
flagged vessels. The Master and Hotel Manager, namely Captain Vladimir Pushkarev and
Mr. Simon Kwinta , planted the trees on behalf of Hansa Shipping on the fourth visit to Valletta this year, by the "Sea Cloud".  A sixth tree was planted by Mr Karl Gollcher, Executive Director from the Gollcher Group.

This tree planting event was co-ordinated between the 34U Campaign at the Ministry of Resources and Rural Affairs and Hansa Shipping agents in Malta , O.F. Gollcher & Sons Ltd of Valletta
